We are pleased to offer free, weekly guided street art tours of Grünerløkka through summer and fall 2022, thanks to support from Bydel Grünerløkka and Jacob Aall Bonnevie Legat.
View availability here.
Starting at Rodeløkka kolonihager (Norway´s oldest allotment gardens) and ending in downtown Grünnerløkka, tours will cover the roots of the street art movement and some historical artworks in the bydel, in addition to those produced as part of the festival - from large-scale murals to miniature sculptures.
Tours are hosted by either James Finucane or Hanne Ugelstad from Street Art Oslo and last approximately two hours.
At its core, street art is about bringing art out into the streets where it is accessible to all. Our guided tours provide an opportunity for both young and old to get involved in art in public spaces and experience the positive side effects this can have.
We hope that these added opportunities for engagement, made possible thanks to the support of Bydel Grünerløkka and Legatet til minne om Jacob Aall Bonnevie, can help contribute in some small way to creating a stronger sense of ownership over the works produced as part of Løkka-lykke.
